I’m so happy you’re thinking of joining our Virtual Book Club! It’s been a strange time; a time when we haven’t been able to see or hug our friends and we’ve all had to adapt to connecting virtually. Books have provided a brilliant distraction for me. I believe there’s no better way to escape reality than curling up on the sofa with a great book!
Why join our Book Club?
Here at Seventeen Minutes, we’re all about encouraging you to take time for you and I hope joining this book club will motivate you to do just that! Our titles will be modern, diverse and will hopefully engage some live discussion. In these times, it’s lovely to read alongside other people, share opinions and indulge in some good old-fashioned self-care.
How does it work?
Each month, we take it in turns to choose the book. One month, I pick; the next, I ask for your suggestions, put a shortlist together and give you the choice over on Instagram stories for the final book pick.
The books are always be available as paperback and you can buy them right here. This way, you can treat yourself to anything else you fancy at the same.
We have a monthly discussion on our private Facebook group to talk about the book.
This month’s pick is… A Double Life by Charlotte Philby.
